Always written “gr” or “grains,” never “grams” or “g.” A 140 gr 6.5mm bullet weighs about 9 grams; a 41 gr charge of H4350 weighs about 2.6 grams.

Powder is measured to a tenth of a grain on a quality reloading scale. Bullets are sold by labeled weight; actual weights vary slightly by lot.
