DOPE answers the question “how much do I dial at 600 yards?” without any calculation in the moment. Built by combining ballistic-app predictions with real-world data book observations.
A printed DOPE card is taped to the rifle’s stock or carried in a pocket. The good ones include drop in mils, wind for a base wind speed (often 10 mph), and DA-based corrections.
